The only testing laboratory in Europe conceived and financed by a private manufacturing company, and created under the supervision of the Bologna University, it researches on the most efficient materials and geometric configurations as well as simulating extreme environmental conditions in order to identify possible weak points in skylights and smoke and heat control systems.
The laboratory favours an active technical collaboration with installers and designers and, broadly speaking, the progressive improvement of the product to achieve the greatest customer satisfaction.
The laboratory is the only one in Italy that can perform the tests in compliance with European regulation EN 12101-2 ‘Smoke and heat control systems’, passed in June 2003. |
